Teaching

I am deeply passionate about my role as a teacher. My teaching is guided by three core principles—the 3 R’s:

Relevance:
From Theory to Practice.

I design my courses to bridge academic concepts with real-world problems and challenges in organizations by utilizing business cases, role plays, and student-driven discussions.

Rigor:
From Research to Insight.

I incorporate published organizational behavior research to cultivate evidence-based thinking, helping students see how psychological theories are grounded in scientific studies.

Reflection:
From Classroom to Life.

I help students internalize course concepts through guided reflections and assignments that connect management ideas to their personal experiences and professional development.

I have taught organizational behavior and leadership courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, earning consistently high teaching evaluations and distinctions as follows:

See below for qualitative comments from my students.

He was very aware of the class dynamics and challenged the class throughout the course.  He was very good at seeing someone’s strengths and weaknesses and tailoring questions to push in the areas we were weak on.  He was also good at pushing people out of their comfort zones with challenging questions.
